Introduction: The Potential of Digital Marketing

"I wanted to start a website and blog geared towards women in the perimenopausal and menopausal age group with information on health and beauty issues that are interesting and helpful to this demographic," she said.

"I am a Nurse Practitioner with a Total Women's Healthcare practice," Pamela continued, "but I also own a med spa [Foothills Center for Women, located in a quaint North Carolina town], so these are things I am passionate about.
"I am also doing this as a learning experience for myself in regards to technology and online marketing. I think that stimulating your brain by learning new things is very important at any age, and I am in the over 65 set, so it is really helping me."

I wanted to learn how to develop a blog and website that was appealing to the demographic group I was targeting and also to generate income.

Well, I knew as soon as I started that I wasn't going to be able to do this by myself. I like the ideas that they have, but also appreciate the fact that they listen to what I like.

It streamlines it for me. I am still learning a lot about the processes, and haven't utilized it as much as I should, but I am gradually getting there.

This has helped me tremendously. I do want to learn more about the process myself, but the posts they create are beautiful.

Search Engine Optimization can be the most tedious thing to learn, have you noticed changes in how people find or discover your business since launching SEO efforts?
Oh yes, absolutely.
You've gotten 497 backlinks! Plus, you're Page 1 on Google for a main keyword in your niche. Overall, how has working with Zoek impacted your business growth or confidence in your marketing?
It is a game changer. I would not have been able to do any of it without the Zoek team.
Has working with Zoek helped you think differently about scaling or long-term growth?
Yes, it has helped me see that it is actually possible for me to do, I wasn't sure if I could even get off the ground when I first started...
I like talking to the team members. I love seeing my hard work and that of the team members reflected in the website and blog. I am trying my hand at doing the email marketing, but I still have a lot to learn.
Is there a feature, service, or outcome that's been especially impactful for your business?
I mean it all is, but I think the help with social media posts has been very impactful. I also like that I can go in and do my own thing in addition to the help I receive from team members.

Oh my goodness, I am so very grateful for the help that Jason and Diego in particular have given me, and also because they have been very patient in teaching me. I still have so much to learn...
I think because the process is streamlined, it really helps people like me that are learning, and also that are super, super busy, so I don't always have the extra time to do a lot of this myself. But also, because I WANT to do the parts that I can, the guidance is important. I appreciate them patiently helping me.
